Traditional Ceremonial Matcha
Here's what you'll need to make a Traditional Ceremonial Matcha
Measuring spoon
1/2 teaspoon Ceremonial Grade Matcha
Bowl
Sifter
Whisk
2-8 ounces of 160 degree Water
Directions:
1. Place sifter over bowl.
2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of matcha
3. Using the back of the spoon, gently press the matcha through the sifter.
4. Add 2 ounces of 160 degree water.
5. Whisk
6. Add more water to your preference.
7. Whisk
8. Enjoy and be healthy!
Matcha Lemonade
Here's what you'll need to make a Matcha Lemonade
Measuring spoon
1/2 teaspoon Ceremonial Grade Matcha
Bowl
Sifter
Whisk
2-8 ounces of 160 degree Water
1-2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice Concentrate
1-2 Tablespoons Sweetener (to taste)
Ice cubes
Directions:
1. Place sifter over bowl.
2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of matcha
3. Using the back of the spoon, gently press the matcha through the sifter.
4. Add 2 ounces of 160 degree water.
5. Whisk
6. Add sweetener to heated water.
6. Add 2 more ounces of 160 water.
7. Whisk
8. Add Lemon Juice Concentrate to glass
9. Fill glass with ice cubes
10. Pour matcha mixture over ice cubes
11. Stir
12. Top off with more ice cubes
13. Enjoy and be healthy!
Matcha Latte
Here's what you'll need to make a Matcha Latte
Measuring spoon
1/2 teaspoon Ceremonial Grade Matcha
Bowl
Sifter
Whisk
2-8 ounces of 160 degree Water
4-5 ounces of your choice of non-dairy milk*
1-2 teaspoons of Sweetener (to taste)
Directions:
1. Place sifter over bowl.
2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of matcha
3. Using the back of the spoon, gently press the matcha through the sifter.
4. Add 2 ounces of 160 degree water.
5. Whisk
6. Add sweetener to heated water
6. Add 2 more ounces of 160 water
7. Whisk
8. Add heated or cold non-dairy milk* to a cup
9. Pour matcha mixture milk
11. Stir
12. Enjoy and be healthy!
*Cow's milk sticks to the polyphenols, which alters (not in a good way) the bioavailability (how well your body can absorb nutrients) of the matcha, and all the goodies just flush through.
