Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea

Perfect for traditional hot tea (Usu-cha), this Ceremonial Grade Matcha is also ideal for daily drinking thanks to its smooth, balanced, and gently sweet flavor.

This matcha offers a beautiful jade green color and a mild, natural sweetness. A subtle astringency from tea catechins is perfectly balanced by naturally occurring L-theanine amino acids, creating a calm, rounded cup that’s especially well suited for Usu-cha, or thin-style matcha. It’s called ceremonial grade because the quality is high enough for use in formal Japanese tea ceremonies.

All Aiya matcha is produced in the Nishio region of Aichi Prefecture, Japan, where some of the world’s finest matcha has been cultivated for more than 800 years.
