Messner Honey

Harvested in the Kansas City metro using natural, sustainable beekeeping practices, this raw honey reflects the rich landscape it comes from. Nestled near the Little Blue River, forests, and prairie, the flavor is beautifully complex. While each season brings subtle variation, it is typically dark, nutty, and layered with depth.

Unlike most commercial honey, this honey is raw and minimally filtered. It is never pasteurized, meaning it retains naturally occurring pollen, enzymes, antioxidants, and beneficial compounds that are often diminished by high heat processing. Because it’s unheated, raw honey will naturally crystallize over time. This is completely normal and does not affect quality. If desired, simply place the jar in a gently simmering water bath until smooth.
